Block Day, March 21 ~ EQ: Is your research essay done yet?

GRAMMAR

• First, review the rules for parenthetical citation here. 
• Then go to your sources and practice the parenthetical citation for all ten sources. Record these as Journal 33 in your notebook. 

ESSAY PREP

• Your essay is due on Monday!
• Use today to work on a solid thesis, well-chosen evidence, citation format, etc...
• Remember, you must answer the research question and cite at least five different sources.
• Remember to use TIED format for paragraphs and TIE format for quote integration. 
• Here is the rubric.

• Go over the timeline and discuss J32
• Read together pages 162-172

HW: Read to page 183. Add to the timeline. (Beware of reading ahead...rough waters on 184.)
