  • Have your partner time your speech at least twice.
  • Brainstorm more cross-ex questions.
  • Consider the weakest parts of your own argument and consider best ways to respond (and evidence to give) when questioned about them.

  • Who will be the openers? closers?
  • What are your main 3-4 areas of argument?
  • Remember that you will only get extra credit if you speak at some point in the debate AND if your team wins.

CLASS DEBATE ~ Tomorrow we will practice our debate structure and FLOW notes using one of the topics below. Let's choose one and take a few minutes to form your "opening speeches" with your team. Organize them by THEMESS please! We'll debate tomorrow.
